D Camp: 2010-2013

Service Description

- Ristuccia in Wilmington - Tuesdays - 9:30-10:20am - 6/25-8/13 - $600 - Birth Years: 2010-2013 The D camp is for defensemen that want to take their game to the next level. As with all our camps, skating will be the focus at the beginning of each session. Players will be separated into smaller groups based on age and skillset, where the main components of playing the role of a defenseman will be broken down. A D man has multiple roles in all 3 zones, both defensively as well as offensively. We will breakdown different game scenarios and provide options that will enable players to be successful when faced with these challenges during a game. D zone play will include various breakouts, D to D passing, defending in corners and net front. Neutral zone work will include thing like regroups, retrievals and gaps on the rush. In the offensive zone, we will focus on walking the blue line, point shots, PP passing/shooting and finding the quite areas to become an asset to your teams offense. Girls are welcome.
